This is a diet type that involves the reduction of carbohydrates in the body and replacing carbohydrates with fat. The body depends on using fat for energy, ketogenic diet can also be referred to as a type of low carb dieting that puts the body in a metabolic state known as ketosis, the body burns fat for energy, fats will be turned into ketones and ketones will supply energy to the body.
